Welcome to Miss Barbara's Preschool
Miss Barbara's Preschool is Chartered by New York State Education Department Board of Regents. Our program is constantly updated and specifically designed to meet and exceed today's standards for preschool education. Our teachers creatively use a "hands on approach" to learning. They effectively incorporate music, drama and art to enhance skills in science, reading readiness and math.
Our exciting program is designed with a supervised "open time", with freedom to use computers, manipulative equipment, a beautiful outdoor playground and pretend areas. Each day also incorporates a "classroom time", to develop a readiness for a more structured academic setting. Our children are encouraged to ask questions. Their thoughts and ideas are respected. We willingly expand on, or alter our program in response to their questioning minds.

We uphold a sincere desire to instill in our children a love of learning, coupled with self confidence and an enhanced self image, that increases their capacity for educational and personal growth.
